About Light of Glory International Church
Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV
The church’s radical and timely approach to ministry defines true worship through stability, veracity and reverence that welcome people from all walks of life. Light of Glory International Church or LOGIC, as it is affectionately known, started three years ago in the conference room of Ryan’s Steakhouse with only 5 people. The church now draws about 700 people to its weekly services. In June 2010 a fire all but decimated the congregations first building located on the corner of 7th Street and Bethel. Brown was not discouraged, even though the fire happened on a normal service day. Brown and the congregation picked up the pieces and came together for their Tuesday night service in spite of the tragedy.
LOGIC moved into its new state-of-the art building located in the heart of downtown Memphis June 1, 2010. The current church, which was a former homeless outreach center which sits at 225 Exchange Street parallel to the Shelby County Criminal Justice Complex Jail, seems to be perfectly placed for maximum ministry. We believe the Word of God can make a difference in your life, like it has in our own. And whether it’s a live video broadcast or in-person preaching, the transforming message of the Gospel is waiting to be experienced as you walk through the doors of Light of Glory International Church.
